I seem to be on a roll lately! I hit 90 days from my last CLI attempt with Amex on my Platinum Delta SkyMiles card, which was denied due to both low score and being too soon on the request. I put in the request online for a 3x CLI, and for the first time I notated that I have $5,000 in assets across savings accounts at various financial institutions. I was instantly approved for the full amount, bring my total line with Amex on that card to $9,000. I'm wondering if my notating what I had in savings had any weight in the decision.
