So last week BoA declined my CLI on my Personal Cash card b/c it's not 12 months yet. Log in today and scrolled over Deals and an offer popped up. $1k spend/$250 credit.

Eerily similar to my experience today. Got turned down by them, days ago, for a CLI on my BOA platinum card.

Today I got an email solicitation to apply for the Cash Rewards MC. Applied. Instant approval. Same exact SL as yours: $8k.

I guess they're going after the Christmas shopping market or something
