I'm getting a lot of good Cash back through 5% categories and the double cash back from discover. Hope this card has the 100k bonus again some time. Really good deal.
thanks! I hear you completely. I'm probably not going to hit other cards, and just "test drive" this one for a few months. I had the discover cashback last year, and it was lots of fun! i mean, with department store categories and discover deals, you'd be getting 30% back on merchandise. whaaaat?! enjoy the ride with the cards you got!
You're annual fee is nearly 5% of your credit line. I hope you really enjoy this card. I would only get it if I thought I would get $25k-$30k starting limit. I've got 3 CCs with no annual fees with $10k limits. This is not a knock on you and I hope you do the best with this card.

Yeah, I don't think it will happen. It is akin to the CSP 100k UR deal that never came back.

That's a very good point. and given about reaching min spend, this credit line will take a heavy hit on utilization in the first 3 months. but think of what you will gain in the process.
But I was also a little bummed about the CL. I too have 4-5 cards with no annual fees and over 10K lines. Including 2 with over 25K lines. So, was hoping to get a higher line. but maybe because it's my first card with Chase, they start me off low to see how it will devolve. We'll see.

you might be right. especially given how publicized the signup bonus was both in terms of the press coverage and the sugsequent hit on chases' bottom line. that's why i decided to take advantage of it now.
