Congratulations! Very nice! I was not aware that you could even apply for the Mastecard version! JCP was my first credit card. Many years ago. I still have the store card version. I would like the MC version. I would also like to know more about the MC rewards structure.

I saw this page for the regular store card (non-Mastercard), and they say you can get a $10 reward for 200 points, or $5 rewards per 100 points "in select markets" (that sounds like almost the same thing),  with $1 spent = 1 point. You also get coupons (including birthday coupons) and bonus point days. I don't see if the Mastercard rewards are identical or if non-JCP spending also earns points for JCP.

Congratulations on your new jcp mastercard. If this card is like the Wal mart mastercard when it was with Synchrony then it will grow fast, you can ask for credit increase every 3 months it is soft pull. again enjoy it.

Congrats on your JCP Mastercard approval. There used to be and may still be different versions to the MasterCard like classic gold and platinum.

Yes there different mastercards based on spending

I called them currently the cards are by invitation only at this point in time. The CSR person did find when this would end. 

You can apply for the card without waiting.
