I started in Catalog, then went to Juniors(I was a sweetalker and was#1 in my store for "icaps" or "credit apps" lol)!!!! Then moved stores and worked in jewelry/juniors/home haha. It was fun! My coworkers were the best too!!! I had like $200-300 worth of those $5 certificates at one point. I decorated pretty much my whole apartment for free haha!! I miss that discount!!!
Haha awesome! XD I would KILL to actually work in catalog...although it's not really the catalog we know and love anymore! It's mostly sorting, calling, and charging back, with the occasional catalog run to whatever department needs it, and when you're done with that, you're essentially a regular associate on the floor! Although I started in juniors, I am SO GLAD to be in home! I'm not going crazy trying to clean the fitting rooms, floor, AND ring customers at the same time XD Considering I work in the 4th largest mall in the united states, with people from NJ and NY coming in, juniors was no bueno. Home is mostly quiet, though more hands on than juniors was when it comes to customers, but definitely takes a lot of stress off my shoulders!
Now, if only I could work in catalog and/or get one of the office jobs...XD maybe when I'm going to grad school and can commute to both school and work I can go weedle my way into one!
