So, I figured it had been long enough avoiding the horrific HP to get a CLI on these accounts. Here's how I faired and some tidbits for anyone else thinking about / needing a CLI or a new CC from these.
UFCU - www.ufcu.org - Visa (no rewards) - Pulled EQ
Max CL available is dependent on CR / Income / DTI / etc.
Opened: 2007
Fixed APR reduction to 6.9% / no CLI though due to limited association with them as they are not my primary CU like they were when I opened the account back in 2009. They now limit CL's to 1 x Monthly income unless you have other lines with them such as Auto / Checking / Direct Deposit / etc.
ITCU - www.itcu.org - Visa (no rewards) - Pulled TU
Max CL available 25K
Variable APR of 5.75%
Opened:2010
Asked for the full 25K expecting a counter and they did come back matching other high CL's from other cards resulting in a 65% increase from original limit before applying for CLI w/ HP.
Consumers - www.myconsumers.org - Visa (no rewards) - Pulled TU
Max CL available 40K
Fixed APR of 9.75%
Opened:2011
Asked for the full 40K and countered for a CLI net of almost 3 x the original CL. Wanting to see more experience before considering upping to 40K.
JFCU - www.jfcu.org - Visa (no rewards) - Pulled EQ
Max CL available 40K
Fixed APR of 11.9%
Opened:2008
Asked for the full 40K and countered for a CLI net of almost 3 x the original CL / due to DTI ratio
Took about 1 point hit for the 2 inquries on both CRA's from what I'm seeing in Fako scores.
The scores matched each other for the 2 that pulled TU and 2 that pulled EQ.
Going into it I had 1 Inquiry on TU and none on EQ within the last 12 months.
Utilization is about 2% of total CL at time of pulls.
BK 7 discharged 2/2006
CC open #9
Mortgage #1
No other loans currently
I didn't have to recon any of these other than UFCU to find out why they wouldn't budge from the current limit since the LO was being vague and playing phone tag throughout the day.
I called each of them to process the CLI over the phone knowing otherwise it would require additional documentation / faxing back and forth.
They all provided scores over the phone once approved w/o much resistance like some lenders can be when you ask for the information.
Bein impatient and comitted to this CLI project I was a bit ambitious calling them 2-3 times today to wrap things up for UW and posting to my accounts the new available limits before they report next month to see how the score changes with the additional ~35K added to my profile.
I have some other accounts that weren't worth pursuing - Chase / HSBC(Cap1) - due to their inability to grow since 2007/2008
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
Nice CLI run, grats ![]()

Congrats!

without knowing the CL's before and after your request this doesn't really make sense to me.
Could you state the actual credit limits?
Congrats!
Thanks for sharing.
