So it's time for me to ask that question for a special someone, FICOS are all around 660-670 due to high util on a few low limit cards. Haven't applied for anything in like 8 months. When I first did the prequalify, it said "You're prequalified!" then had me fill out the application. I did that and hit submit, and it said Comenity could not approve my application, but an alternate lendor may be able to. I couldn't see any difference except the card didn't say "Gold" on it. I did see "retail installment contract" or something like that, but otherwise, looks to be a revolving tradeline as far as I can tell. Can anyone help me on this? As far as the CL, I had about 4800 ring in the shopping bag, but only put $3600 when it asked for "initial purchase amount". So anyone else doing this, maybe add some stuff to your bag to get a higher CL?
Also, Who just gave me credit or is this just a glitch in the system? (EDIT: may have found the answer, can anyone confirm? On their Card page, it shows Comenity AND Genisis Cardholders.)
