Just an update for all with data points.
I had a useless Barclays Apple card - $5k (2017) that was PC'd to a Barclays rewards card May 18'. I waited 90 days and applied for a Jetblue Plus MC Sep 18 was approved for $5k. I then closed the rewards and moved the 5k to the JB+ card giving me $10k. I ran $5k a month thru it till March of 19' when I called credit services and asked for an increase which they approved $10k. I have continued to use and abuse my JB+ card racking up over 100k in miles and am just $10k short of being awarded a Mosiac customer for the remainder of 19' and 20' (so excited).
I decided to call up since it's been one year since I opened the card. I only will call credit services! Don't ever call customer service!
They appreciate my business and I asked for $30k total they gave me $25k.
FYI - He spent 20 mins on the phone and asked me many questions about a few balances and my BK which I explained in detail.
Very happy with this card but hate the high APR (which won't ever change). I treat this as I would an AMEX charge card and I have never paid Barclays a single penny in interest.
