Has anyone else out there applied and used a John Deere credit card on the resident level? I know there are many different style cards they offer.
Also, If people have, what is the typical limit they start with. Mine was 15k and I thought that was outstanding seeing no other cc I have goes above 2k. And is there CLI often even if it is not used? My Fico 8 at the time I appled were Eq-692, Trans-654, Ex675, with a income aorund 56k/year. Only 1690ish charged on the cc's with limits being 7100 between them.
I only applied for this so when I get a house in the next year or two, I wanted to have the ablitiy to get a sub compact tractor with a few add on toys to go with it,*evil laugh* as I do small gardening and such.
Any feed back would be great. I take it that this is a very rare card people apply for vs the typical store, visa, AmEx, ecs.
Congrats! That's a great line. If you need more, you can recon. They even tell you that on the approval email.
Mine was $10,000 and I maxed it out on a UTV!
Paid half of it off already.
its a hidden trade line so it was stress free buying that thing.
when it's paid off, I'm going for a zero turn mower.
Go Green!
Congrats on your approval.

This account is a no-brainer and relatively simple to get approved with.
Especially if you are rural located like yours truly it's a MUST!
Excellent financing options abound.

It actually is a line of credit. Most of us were approved for the initial $15,000. So that seems like that is the standard approval amount. I never requested more, because that seems like that was more than enough. Most tractors I was looking at ranged between $3000-$4000.

What is the average FICO TU score to be approved.
Congrats on the approval! A few years back it seemed that 5k was the norm on this one but earlier this year it seems the SL jumped to 15k and after seeing approvals earlier this year I went for it and got 15k as well. It's also a hidden TL so carrying a big balance to take advantage of some of their sweet financing promos won't hurt you in terms of util. One of these days I'm going to take advantage of it and pick up a Gator RSX860i.
