Joining the Comenity Bandwagon :O

So I decided to join the Comenity bandwagon with basically some store cards. I would only accept a card if it was a SP. This is my turn out. They all came with toy limits however I have heard CLI are quick and easy with Comenity?

Slow down! do you have any regular credit cards? I would have tried for a co-branded Visa or MasterCard That way you can use it to pay your bills and not have to shop out of your way to build more history

As noted before, my personal experience as well, you don't let a statement cut with the balance every month you will get holes in your history. they don't report when it is zero. if you have a whole bunch of accounts with everyone, its not a big deal. if those listed above are your only cards you need to use 2 or 3 of them every month

Congrats, I have lots of comenity cards. Jcrew would give am immediate CLI and then another CLI monthly. Id probably not take a lot more of those genre comenity cards, as they become redundant but id def. try my luck on getting a mc/visa pop up.

I have around 15 cominity cards, but difinatly try for the visa/master card pop up first. I also went with the ones that had better SL first too. Overstock, HSN, were a couple. I know theres more. Then i looked at what others were getting and not getting for CLI's. Last thing i want is a useless card ill very seldom use but makes it more useless when you cant get a CLI either! I then compiled my list and went on a spree.

I think the only thing i wish i did diffrent was wait about a month and got my chase and amex first. I think the SL would have been more for those 2,

Congrats on those cards. Remember in order for them to report you must use them. I learned this the hard way with Comeniy.

Most of mine reported right away. Some im still waiting on...once you do your intital purchase does it then report every month?
