No I app'd online and got 7-10 day response. The CSR said it was declined for verification. But then said I would need to mail address verification when I get the letter. They have a jacket I really want.

Sorry to hear about your denial. Which card did you get the denial? I don't think it is going to be any problem. You need to call them to answer a couple of public record question.

That was for Nordstrom. She was not clear if its denial or they just want address verification so I will wait for their letter.

Charter One is backed by RBS and pulled my EQ. I could not get through to their application status people this week though. I think theyre conservative and online says 2 weeks for approval.

Norstrom should be easy. They probably need you to send your utility bill or DL for address vertification.

I  don't have Charter One. I have RBS Citizen MC. I have had the since 1999. I got  the card thru pre-approval.  I didn't know they are conservative like FNBO, Zion Bank card Services.
