Just Got Approved for CSP-- Have a Few Questions

I am not surprised I got approved for the card as I have always had good credit and no CO, Charge Offs etc. but I was a bit shocked when I saw the Credit Access Line, $12000. I certainly didn't expect that much, the last time I had that kind of limit was in 2010 on a AMEX Blue Sky ($15k). I would have been fine and happy with a mere 5K.

Anyway, I was wondering if they can expedite the card since I am going on a trip next week (I'll be fine if I don't get the card before that though).

My other question is if in a year I change my mind and realize the card is not worth $95 to me as I am not sure I spend enough to make it worth the AF (truth be told the 3k spend in the first three months is already a bit daunting to me but I think I can make it) would it be possible to downgrade it to the non-preferred one? I would think so but I just want to hear if anyone has done it.

Anyway, you can all be proud, at least those who own the card, as I applied for it after reading so much praise about it on this very board. Yes, be proud, be proud. You got me into this lol.

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Just Got Approved for CSP-- Have a Few Questions

I called and they said I should get it by Monday. Thanks again.

After that credit card approval, I felt energized so went and asked my boss for a raise. He needs to ask the CEO but I am crossing my fingers!

Re: Just Got Approved for CSP-- Have a Few Questions

Thank you all. I forgot to include another question, does the card also comes in plastic? I know metal seems to be all the rage these days but I am old-fashioned and would prefer the plastic version if there is one. I read different things about that. Does anyone know?

Yes you can request a plastic version, however why would you want to?
