Hot on the heels of a Macy's card CLI, I just recieved my 2nd Apple Card CLI, after a request, to $3500. This is after getting an auto CLI after my first $3 purchase in Wawa this summer. That one took me from $500 to $1500. Is this about what I should expect? If my spend decreases, will they get stingy liek Cap1?
TIA

I have not seen anything to indicate that GS manages accounts like Cap1. Nobody does it ...like Cap1. No signs of being bucketed, at any rate...You already have a cummulative 7x CLI -- Doesn't seem like anything is holding you back.
I'm uncertain if CLIs and spend are highly coupled for GS/Apple card. I think there was some consensus developing that spend was important, maybe determinative, but recall contradicting reports later in time, where meaty CLIs were obtained with modest or even nominal spend. You might have to experiment; see if you get denied or not with specific reason
insufficient spending of current CL
GS really seems to like you. Looks like you might be at a point where it would be worth your while add another major bank card, American Express, Chase (<5/24!), Discover - IT etc. but that depends on scores (~700+ Fico8), debt/income, etc.

You can ask every 91 days. Just keep in mind that they want to see some substantial spending of current credit limit to approve an increase. Based on previous CLI trends, it has appeared that spending no less than 25% to 30% of your current CL in the few prior months to a CLI request is needed to avoid the "insufficient spending of current CL" denial message. Higher spending has sometimes led to larger relative increases.
Congrats on the increase!
Thanks for the info. I've done sone seaaarching on the forums, and seen both opinions as well. We will see where things go.
I was hoping to add another card in Nov, but the Apple card reported a $700 balance to Experian, apparently for the 2 days before it was paid off. So my score hasn't moved as I expected. Thankfully, atill relatively good at 8%. Will probably wait for a HP to hit a year in December so I can maybe pick up a few points.
