Kohl's Card Approval

Hey all,so I haven't been hanging on MyFico

so as not to be tempted to app.Well I apped anyway :-)

My first time opening a CC at the checkouts.

My daughter wanted more clothes and I needed to

return some stuff at the Amazon kiosk at Kohl's.

They offer 35% off first day purchases and apparently

it was a Black Friday Sale also.And $15 Kohl's dollars

for every $50 spent. Seemed like I could save some money.

Long story shorter,I ended up saving $191.00 in shopping

savings from opening up the charge and the sale prices,

and got 30 free Kohl's dollars.so over $220 more in my

wallet...but now I have a Capital One card in there also :-( 

I don't know if I got the Triple Lindy of credit pulls as

none have shown up yet.

gotta be about 400K in credit about now.

lThey gave me $700.00 Credit.

Not sure if that's good or bad but it 

paid for the clothes!

As far as store cards go this one is pretty good. It really can save you some money and Kohl’s isn’t too expensive and the quality is good. Good value about sums it up. Pretty sure cap1 only pulls one CB for Kohl’s. I was Equifax for me.

They pulled Experian for my friend- whom lives in the same state as me. So it appears YMMV on who they pull

$700 is a decent credit limit (in my opinion). Mark your calendar for 6 months from the date of opening for a SP CLI

Kohl’s typically starts at $300 and roughly doubles for each CLI until you max out at $3K. $700 is a good start with them. I think it’s 90 days between CLI’s.
