Left the garden to app for my fav grocery store card. Approve by U.S. Bank for the Krogers 123 Rewards card. Starting limit $6k with 12 month 0% APR then 15.99% after that. Cool.

Actually passed on this one over about a year ago. They sent a preapprove mailer.

I shop one of Kroger affiliate grocery stores is why.

Just to clarify, not to be a debbie downer, on how this card works, for other members FYI...

Earn Rewards Certificates that are automatically sent every quarter.

Earn 1 point per net $1 you spend outside our stores.

Earn 2 points per net $1 you spend at our stores (excl. fuel).

Earn 3 points per net $1 you spend on Kroger Family of Brand products.

Every 1,000 points = $5 in Kroger Rewards Certificates just for using your Kroger 1-2-3 REWARDS® Visa® Card.

So basically its 2 points per dollar yet points are only worth half a cent. So its really only a 1 percent card for groceries, right?

500 a month spend at kroger says 15 per quarter, so thats 60 a year? so 60 back a year after 6k spend?

Regardless, thats a great starting limit, more than I have on a major card. Congrats! And you are in with us bank
