Thanks for that number, it worked like a charm for my Paypal Extras mastercard. Asked for a CLI to make the limit total 10K, they countered with 8k. So got a CLI of 3900. The card was stuck to the same limit for more than a year.

Very cool. Congrats on another CLI!
Now, just a word of caution. You may want to avoid asking too often. Synch is notorious for taking AA. Lots of sad stories regarding their infamous blue envelopes and such. It can be very tempting because all their cards are SPs for CLIs so nothing is stopping you.
I know I'm done for a while after my last round of CLIs with them.
What is AA btw. Sorry for my ignorance. And also what do they do if you ask too much. One of my cheapoair card is stuck at 2500 limit which i want to grow too. But had asked them multiple times in past.

AA is Adverse Action. I don't have first hand experience *knock on wood*, but from reading a bunch of threads here and other blogs/forums, Synchrony may request that you fill out a 4506-T form to access your finances. Problem is, the majority of people won't survive a financial review by them, even if you meet the income verification. They freeze all your accounts before you get the form, but almost no one gets them reactivated. People will always warn you about this on the forum regarding Synch.
oh wow. lol, i will just not log into my accounts for quite long now. don't want to afford to lose those limits
@Poppa wrote:I was approved March 23rd. I got the card at the beginning of April. I used it in April but charges were added to May's statement. Since I didn't get a statement for April I've only had 2 statements. I have to wait until September then? It's funny, when I started my credit journey I thought once my wife and I had scores around 800 we would get 5 digit starting limits with the best APRs and it didn't turn out that way at all.
Occasionally you’ll get a CLI after the very first 2 statements.
Lowes and Ebates have done this with me. Of course the 4 statement rule starts from that point then.
if you apply too soon the response is usually “Not enough experience at current credit limit” or words to that effect.
i have had that response and then received a CLI the very next day when the statement dropped
