After reading another CLI succes stories from Macy's a week ago, I logged in and requested an increase from my newly combined line of $12.5K to $21K. But didn't hear anything back for a couple of days (the page said a decision will be make in 2 to 4 hours). So I called the no. on back of my card and was told it was declined and I would receive a letter of explanation in the mail soon. I assumed it was because of a returned payment I had last Jan. on my Citi Best Buy store card since Citi now owns the portfolio. Just for snicks I logged into my acct. a little while ago only to see my new CL of $21,000...My first $20K CL! Now I'll definitely have to go buy a new small appliance or something to keep this one alive-LOL!! Not sure if I received a HP for this increase or not just yet. This account will be exactly 2 years old tomorrow BTW.

I broke it with my amex about 7 days ago. Exactly last Sunday. Now macys gave me 5k to bring me to 11.2k. but i should have went for 20k since it was hp. argg.
