Membership: I checked this morning on Annual Creit Reports there were two pulls on Equifax yesterday. One was soft pull (membership) the other was hard pull for the credit card as expected. With Langley FCU you do not have to join anything to become a member just a resident in the US basically
Credit Card: The is morning I received an email wanting 2 pay stubs which were prrovided. I also asked if the 5,000 credit limit could be increased to 10,000. The response was the application would be returned to underwriting to see if it could be done. The response was the limit was increased to 10,000.
Data points my score at Equifax was 806 Per My FICO Credit Utilization 1 to 2% Average age of Accounts 12.4 years (the term I used may not be quite right)
I hope this helps
Congratulations on your approval and successful recon to increase your SL!
Nicely done @AndySoCal, congrats on the approval and the bump to 10k!
Forgot to mention that that the 5% category selection is built into the app in the card interface, so it's pretty convenient. Just remember to do it at the beginning of each month. Enjoy!

Congrats on the approval and getting the limit increased!
@MissLiz My recon was simply this in the email that I attached the POI documents I added this sentence. I would like to request that my current credit limit 5,000 be increased to 10,000 please. I was not sure what to expect but I am happy with the results. I never thought I would do a recon.
@PullingMeSoftly Thank you for the additional information on the card.
All, Thank you for your responses and Kudos
Congrats

Congratulations on your Langley approval!
Congratulations on your approval!
Not sure of your goals but I believe that one hard pull can be used for mutiple credit products. If you were interested in a Line of Credit it may be worth asking. When I applied for my Langley card I tried a 2 for 1 but was denied on the the 2nd card. I'm looking to get a second card with them in the future. There are no fees on balance transfers with them so I've been able to use that to my advantage since I've been with them.

@TG10X @Thank for the information. I have been doing a what if scenario which if my financial institution was hit with a ransomware attack. How would I recover/survive that. I would get if need be get a secured share loan which has a lower interest rate than other loans. Langley currently is as low as 3.05%.
