Decided to refi my truck since LoC FCU was running a promo of 1% cash back on the amount refinanced and they have always given me great rates.

They pulled EQ8 at 777 and was approved for 1.99% .....was 2.94% at other CU...signed docs....saw the $283 cash back in my account and was pretty happy.

( 2015 Ram 2500)

But then I realized I could use that same EQ pull to ask for a CLI on my $10k CC.

Emailed the loan officer and was instantly approved for $25k.

Not a bad day.

And the kicker.....LoC FCU only reports the CC to EQ and TU.....but the auto loan only to EQ.

On my EX and TU credit reports my auto loan will now come up as paid off
