Got approved yesterday for $2000 was looking for in the 5-6k range.

What do they ask when you recon ? I closed the page after approval didn't get the account number and waiting for my card now,the automated system said credit limit $2000.

I just wanted to say thank you for the number.  I applied online the other day for a Lowes card and was approved for an $800 limit.  I called the backdoor number today and it was all automated and they denied any CLI.  I called the number you posted here and I asked for $6,000 and was approved for $6,000 within two minutes.  My highest limit so far was $2,000 on my Barclay Rewards card and now this is by far my highest limit.  Now I need to recon my initial limit with Discover and see if I can have similar results there.
