I'm moving next week & needed a new washer and dryer. Lowe's offers good (comparable) prices w/ free delivery and installation (I know its not hard but I own no tools) and I had a 10% off coupon. Monday I applied and was approved in-store, thinking that might get me a better SL. It did not: 2K. And Synchrony reported the new account & balance the next day showing me at almost 50% Util.
My plan was to wait for my card to arrive and try for a CLI. But then I read this thread. Thank you, burntreality. My experience now mirrors yours: I too called overseas before the card arrived and turned 2K into 10K.
DPs: HP EX on Monday: 717 Fico 08 w/ 17 Inq (EX only) and < 5% Util. This is my 5th Synchrony card and probably my last. I can't think of another I want.
