Lowe’s card CLI???

I was just approved for a Lowe’s credit card today, but they only gave me $500. I have two other Synchrony bank cards and Navy Federal just approved me for a $15,000 card two days ago. When and how can I get Lowe’s to increase my credit limit. I will be shopping for a mortgage soon and want the card to be able to do things around the house and yard.

Thanks for your help!!!!

If your goal is to get a mortgage soon, please STOP applying for credit! Lenders want to see no new accounts for 12 months prior to mortgage application.

CongratsSmiley Happy +2 on Mortgage advice.

Sync can be as easy as a phone call or waiting a couple months. Im g9nna assume if you can afford a house youll most likely get the Lowes up to 35k eventually , just depends on when they say yes.

Fyi, cant compare Navy to other lenders. Navy can give 25k to a person who only has $500 limit cards elsewhere so they stand alone lolSmiley Wink

Re: Lowe’s card CLI???

Call the backdoor number for SP.

I went from something crazy low (cant remember - maybe $1k)

to $35k over the last few years.

I was stuck at $17k for quite a while (seems like a point many get stuck)

then went to $25k then $30k then $35k.

I do spend a lot at lowes, but my ficos were below 700 at $17k.

GL!

Rebuild started in 2014  -  $100k unsecured credit in 2017  -  $500k unsecured credit in 2024.

Grats on the apprroval Smiley Happy

When you get and activate the card you can call Credit Solutions and ask for a larger limit, if they wont go anymore now then you will need to use the card and ask again in 3-4 months time.

Re: Lowe’s card CLI???

^^^ agreed. You won’t likely have to spend a fortune though. I was approved for $300. Three statements later, I had spent around $100 in total and moved up to $6000. Three more statements and a couple hundred more spend and it went to $12,000. Lowe’s will grow big.

And another big + for no more apping if you’re after a mortgage.
