I was approved for the new Luxury Gold Card on 1/14 ($10k CL) and received my card today.
First thoughts - This card is heavy! Much heavier than CSP and Marriott Premier Rewards. After looking through the benefits guide, it definitely has more perks than advertised. Nothing to rave about though. With the 50k point sign-up bonus, this will offset the AF for the first year. After that, I'll decide whether I want to keep it for another year. With the $200 airline credit and $100 Global Entry fee waiver, I'll definitely come out ahead this year.
Here is the package:
Fantastic, congrats on your approval !!! Very nice looking card
Nice Congrats!!!!!!
OMG. you went for it.
THANK YOU for posting a pic. Super curious. Holy....my eyes are like O_O Congrats on the 24k plated card! That's crazy!

24k gold plated.
Congrats! I applied for the Black Card but Barclay denied me due to too many new accounts in the past six months.
I know it's only gold plated, but 24 karat gold itself is pretty soft. Does the card feel soft? I know it's a heavy card but by soft, I mean does it feel like it would scratch pretty easy?
For comparison, I would feel terrified of putting a tiny bar of 24 karat gold in my pocket or wallet in fear of ruining it.
congrats. take a few more pics with more detail for us out of the box.
congrats but my first thought is ghetto CL for a $995 AF!!
