Macy's Amex approved!..But low limit

Oh right.  I forgot that you have several CCs with super high CLs.  Now I remember...GM WEMC $600?  Do you know what the CL is on your Macy's AMEX sandman?  It is likely higher than the store version (hopefully).

@FinStar ,I got a $1500.00 limit,,But was told the card has 2 limits..I had a store version a few years back and never used it and I closed it out..I don't have any retail cards as I see no use for them..I did get a norstrom's card last month with a $1000.00 limit..Ithink its because of my credit I have avalible to me...450K..I may need to close some lines out lol

$450,000?   Very...ummm...NICE sandman!   I guess I'm just $150K short...LOL.  Then again, Ron1 has about ~100 CCs/TLs... a lovely collection I might add.

I don't think I have ever seen Macy's give over $3k starting CL... but call in when you get the card and they will up it and then again in 3 months... they can grow FAST... had a joint with my mom back in 08 and it started $1k store and $2k visa and was at $10,700 store and $12 visa in 1 year!

I got approved for just $1,200 Macy's Amex last month..Definitely not a great or not a bad starting limit... Interestingly it has some good rewards ... 5% on cellphone bill payments etc...

I would wait for auto CLI in next 4-6 months. Does Macy's Amex also has 3x CLI strategy as regular AMEX revolvers?

Unfortunately, it doesn't have the same CLI strategy.  The Macy's AMEX is issued by DSNB/Citi, not by Centurion Bank/FSB.

WOW that is cool...next app in Jan or Feb is Macys....as I understand it I have to go to the store to get the AMEX version...is it instant at the store, meaning you know you have the AMEX? Reading about Macy's is confusing with store card vs. Amex....Also question what is with the colours of the amex, silver and black, any difference and should I ask about colour when I app.....Thanks!
