Macy's Credit Card Application

Hey everyone!

I joined FICO around a month ago, but check these forums daily! 

So much useful information to be found...

Anyway, i have a question.

I applied for a Macy's store credit card (which after extensive researching, I read that Macy's can be difficult) and received the "We Need a Little More Information" statement in order to receive a decision... I'll be calling later today.

In your experience, does this result in an acceptance? 

My credit scores are:

Equi: 687

Trans:702

Exp:697

I'm 20, but next month will mark my oldest card being two years old. 

I have a BOA card with a 1200 limit.

Jared's with 800.

Amazon with 1400. 

Synchrony with 800.

This is the final card I planned on applying for another 2 years! The only thing I would consider otherwise doing would be CLI's as long as they're soft pulls.

I hope it will be an approval as your scores look good!. It could be verification so heres hoping you get it and wellcome to the forum

My macys app was instant but bloomingdales gave me a similar message a long time ago, i called in and it was approved. I think you have a good chance. Just give them a call and i think you will get it!

I called customer service and the lady verfiied questions on my statement... 

She asked if I wanted to change my income # on my statement (including money accessible to me from others) & I tweaked it a bit.

Approved for 500! 

Not much, but enough for me to play with it a bit and then gradually increase.
