Marriott and CSP Approval chances?? Advice needed

Did they say what made them change their mind and approve you?

I'm just glad it's over. My credit profile is pretty good except for (1) 30 day late Jan 2014. The guy from EO told me the reason i was denied was because my state issued dl couldn't be verified. I toke my dl to a branch on 4/2 so it could be uploaded in the system. When I asked him what specifically about it couldn't he verify he told me he didn't know. i asked him if he has seen the dl, he said no he had not personally seen the dl. He said my application was denied , couldn't be reopened and I would have to reapply later. I asked him what the reason for denial would be on my denial letter and he said I wouldn't be getting a denial letter because my app never went to lending. He was just telling me what another department told him. So basically, he didn't do his job. I got off the phone with him and called the branch where I uploaded the document and asked the banker if the document was clear in the system, he said it was very clear. The banker at Chase told me he would make some calls to find out what's going on. I got off the phone with the banker and called Chase EO back requesting to talk to a manager because the guy that was handling my case wasn't clearly doing his job. She asked me some question and said i would get a call in a few days. I told her a member from EO said I was denied because they couldn't verify an uploaded document that was in the Chase system, she said that doesn't make sense. I asked her if she had ever heard of that happening before and she said no.The next day, the same EO guy calls me and asked me if I remember what Chase branch I went to on 4/2 to have my dl uploaded? I gave him the branch address and the bankers name. EO guys said he will give me a call back in a few days. He calls me back the next day and said i was approved for both cards. I knew I was going to get approved, they just gave me a hard time. I'm gonna be in the garden for a while

CL will be at the very least $5,000 both since they are siggy only cards

Congrats! Glad it's over for you..I went through the same thing when I got approved for the freedom. Verification department was ridiculous and over the top.

Update: I just called Chase and both cards got a SL of 5k each.
