Went on a little app spree the last two days after dealing with some somewhat expected denials. Been trying to back into the AMEX ecosystem after burning them on two cards (Platinum and ED) a few years back. I paid them in full and fell for the Optimum Card program thinking they would actually let me back in after 12 months. It took an additional year before my denial reasons changed from "you burned us before" to things actually on my credit report. After not getting anywhere after repeatedly applying every 30 days, I took a stab at the business cards since they have some of the same benefits as the consumer cards. Wish I had done this a lot sooner.... I app'd for the Amazon Prime Business after giving up on getting a CLI from Chase on my other Amazon Prime card. It's been at $500 since I opened it in 2016 and they won't budge, even after putting over $2000 on the card in several consecutive months. Anyway, I was approved for $3000 after calling in to verify my address. I double dipped and app'd for the Business Platinum Card and was approved after linking by bank account and verifying my address (again). NPSL!!! Decided to try my luck elsewhere after back to back approvals and went for the Citi Costco card since it's the only Club where I live. Approved for $7300!! I'm getting off my computer before I get trigger happy again....
