NASA FCU Approval: 30K / 9.9% APR

1.  Applied for NASA FCU "VISA Rewards" credit card a few days ago (9/24), and received 2-3 day PENDING notification.

2.  Today (2 day wait) I received an APPROVAL notification email, with 30K CL and a 9.9% APR interest rate, along with 7.9% APR for Balance Transfer checks.

3.  Had to send copy of Utility Bill, for which I substituted a copy of a CC online statement which had my current address. 

4.  Account DOCUMENT was received and signed, and now I wait. Fingers are "crossed" that something negative doesn't happen, as we have all been reading about!  I won't rest until I actually receive the card, complete with a picture of the Galaxy!  Yeah, I guess once a nerd, always a nerd . . . !!!

5.  Oh, not sure if it was a SP or a HP.  I have not received any alert notifications from my various credit monitoring accounts, so I'm hoping it's a SP.

6.  I did try to sign up for their $5.00 initial credit union membership AFTER I had already applied for the cc.  Yeah, I know that was BACKWARDS!  To date I have not received any kind of paperwork regarding my membership application!  Will have to check into that.  Of course my main priority (for now) was the cc application.  Still keeping those fingers crossed!

I feel you on that! My approval was instant on the 24th, signed my e-docs on the 25th; a few hours later it said 'funded'.  Today, my card is listed under my savings on my account status page.  So far so good, but won't get excited until my card is in hand!

Congratulations on the approval!!  Next step after they receive the electronic documentation is that status should say "FUNDED" in the application.  Then, about a day later, the credit card account should show up on your list of accounts.  Based up what has been posted here, the credit card application would cause a HP, since the memership was not approved before the credit card app, but your experience may be different.
