I first applied for the credit card when I opened the account in about 1/15. That was denied. I never used the NASA savings/checking since I'd only opened to try to get a credit product from them. Fast forward to 8/15, I tried again. The only activity with NASA was the initial deposit of $15 to each account. They approved the card right away for $10K. I then app'd for the PLOC the next day (same pull) asked for $30K, they countered with $10K. I had to submit 2 check stubs and a drivers license. I'm not self employeed though.
Thank you. You app'd last year when NASA was giving out credit like candy on Halloween. Now they're closing people's accounts and dropping people's limits from $25K down to $1K.
What organization did you sign up for to be able to join with them? Moon Society for $20?
I heard they hate self-employed people like most lenders and I have no problem giving up 2-3 months business bank statements to NASA, but I'm not giving up tax returns or T-4506 unless it's for a mortgage.
Right, they were totallyhanding them out left and right, that's why I'll selfishly admit I was bummed that the lines were only for $10K. Now however I've treated them respectfully and so far have flown under the radar. A CLD would really bum me out. Sorry I can't shed any light on the documents they may require =/ Good luck if you pull the trigger. Would love to hear how you make out.
Just wanted to chime in here. I got a CC during the candy give-away, and I was self employed.
Had to send a couple of 1040's, but they gave me 10K. At the time they were only softing EX, but those days are over.
Use it a few times a year for a gas fill up. Not really sure why I keep it other than it was free, and it helps with utilization.
Congrats to you !!!!!
