I was approved with my CU for my largest card so far about 3-4 months ago at an SL of $8000. It's a no frills non-reward card, but with a nice APR of 14%. I had a few INQs fall off EQ since August started, and figured I'd give a CLI request a try with them before my student loan shows up on my EQ reports(if it does, so far just TU). Woke up this morning to a congratulatory email saying my request of a CLI to $15,000 was approved and thanking me for my responsible use of the previously approved limit.
I've been putting some solid use on the card. Last month my wife and I took an anniversary trip to Cozumel, and it was the only card I set up to use for everything we needed for the trip and to use internationally while down there. The balance reported, and I was able to PIF before the due date.
I'm hoping this paves the way for some larger limits and CLIs from current cards moving forward.

Wow! Congratulations on your amazing CLI!
Congratulations on your CLI and new limit!
congrats
Congrats!
I still want to know how this is the second largest CU in the country....

@BearsCubsOtters NC SECU has almost 56 billion in assets as compared to NFCU who is the largest credit union in USA with 178 billion in assets. For whatever it's worth Pen Fed is the third largest. Here is the list per Depositaccounts.com
