NEW Discover IT credit limit increase

My Discover IT has a $4,500 limit but not sure how much i should ask for. Im new to credit. Anyone requested $1,500 ?

I believe I have read on here that the max for a sp cli is about 4k. I got a 3.4k cli when I did my request from. 5600 to 9000. YMMV
