NFCU CLI Question

I have had my NFCU Cash rewards card for some 10+ years now with a $22k credit line.  I currently have a balance of ~$13k on it which I plan to pay down over the next few months.  Has anyone received a CLI with a high balance?  

My current scores are EQ 742, TU 710, EX 706. My score on the NFCU dashboard is 710 with 21% credit usage.

Does NFCU use their own dashboard or the credit usage for each card?

If you've had the card for years and haven't requested a CLI there's really no harm in trying.   It's NFCU so I'd say you have decent odds even carrying a balance.

Since having the Nfcu Cc have you had any CLI during the past 10 years? I know my husband have a balance of $12,500 and recently requested a CLI from $22,000 - $28,000 instant approval with a 22% credit usage on his cash rewards and a 749 Nfcu fico score. Never know unless you try. If you do good luck.

My motto with Navy is if at first you don't succeed try try again. Being an sp, you have zero to lose and even with a high balance, good payment history counts to them in my humble opinion.  If I stopped asking due to knowing my meager means, I'd have never reached the moon with Navy. If they approved keep asking for cli every 3 months or so. The more limit available you have the morespace you'll have

Your odd is very high to get CLI from NFCU! You Go Girl! Please keep us informed. Higher limit will also bring down your utilization too! Ideally 10% or less on a single card utilization is desirable to boost your score! NFCU is very generous in terms of CLI...

I woke up to a $6k CLI from $22k to $28k.  I now have the followingw/NFCU:

• Cash Rewards     $28k
• Platinum                $22k
• Checking LOC     $15k
