First of all, credit goes to member Credit Addict or aka CA. the knowledge about NFCU helped me decided over the weekend to apply this morning for NFCU Checking line of credit (CLOC). I applied for the full $15,000 as advised and hit submit and booom! Instantly approved for $15,000! No paystubs, no tax returns, nothing. This amazing approval comes upon the heels of my approval 3 days ago on Friday for a NFCU Cash Rewards Signature Visa which also threw out an instant approval for $23,000 at 11.5%. This credit union is just simply amazing and again nothing special with me. I have perfect credit, no baddies but my scores are all below 700 at 669,684,657. They ran TU fico 8 at 684 for my approvals. My utility, not so amazing at 27% but these two approvals will help bring that down a bit. So anything seems possible here. I have a ton of inquires 16eq, 26tu, 21ex but I have always paid double the minumum payment on all my cards and carried some big balances at times. I was scared to death to push it and apply for this CLOC after getting such a huge SL on my Siggy Visa. But CA and the posts helped push me over to take a little more risk. I have read thousands of posts about 7,000 in the past year while building from next to nothing credit wise and today is now a cause for celebration. So thank you to each person that posts their experience good or bad, each time you are helping another and that is what makes the people and this site so amazing. I can only hope my info and posts have the same effect. Now a trip to Las Vegas is in order!
