I dont know myactual fico score so I'm scared to waste the inq for the USAA as i've read that they are a bit strict. I have been a USAA member since 2004  Ideally I would like to apply now to let my new cards age together and start 2015 fresh. 

I also plan on doing a balance transfer from my USAA secured to the NFCU CC because they currently have a 2.99 balance transfer APR was also wondering If I should wait until I am able to do that balance transfer to appear in better standing with USAA and my balance will reflect 0 to give me a better chance of approval. Also if I wait my NFCU wil be reporting on my report. I'm unsure if that will help or hurt me.

I applied for the USAA unsecured and got denied. 😔 and the worst part is what read here is they don't do recons. The counter offered the secured version.
