NFCU More Rewards Amex Recon

I have had a $1000 NFCU Cash rewards card for 9 months. After a 2,000 credit increase and 2 CLI from capital One. I decided to reach and apply for the Amex More Rewards. My Credit Karma score was at a high of 684 TU. I applied and was denied after an hour. After doing research here I decided to send a secured message to RECON. Next Day I was approved for $20,000. By far my highest approval. Just wanted to share, been lurking for years. Next I will refi my 16% auto loan, get the CLOC, and possibly the Discover It Cash Back. Good Luck with NFCU and dont take no for an answer.

@JewNupe I’m curious to know what magical words you sent to the recon team through secure message to go from declined to 20K 😳 . I didn’t even know you could recon through secure message. I guess you learn something new everyday .
