If you started at 490, that's serious progress! Don't forget to apply for a CLI after 90 days/3 full statements with your Navy Fed card. Though I'm curious why you want the Savor One, because both it and the More Rewards are 3% back in 2 out of 3 of the same major categories.

Appreciate the tip. I'm gonna have to read up more on that although I'm inclined to think with a $1k approval, I barely made the cut but we'll see when that comes. As far as the Savor1, it appears it has a cash rewards system whereas the NFCU More is points based if I'm not mistaken. I used to have the 4% grandfathered Savor and it was one of my favorite cards.
Congrats on the approvals!
Well I would call that a big win @pip3man :-)
Congratulations on your approvals.
Enjoyed reading about them
Enjoy your success,
Cheers

It's true the MR technically gives points, but there are no transfer partners to get higher valuations, and the points are transferrable into cash at a 1 point : 1 cent ratio, so it's effectively a cash back card.

Do you know if the More Rewards has a minimum point redemption like the nRewards which is like 5000 points?

Same with the More Rewards. Redemption minimums is one area where where Capital One definitely wins over Navy Fed.
Congrats on the two approvals 👍🏼
