@JNA1 wrote:I asked for my 6 month bump on my Navy Plat and got the full $8K CLI. This card started at $23,100 a year and half ago, and I've gotten (2) $4K CLIs and now this $8K one. I asked for $40K, figuring I wouldn't get the full amount, but they gave me an even $8K. They really like me having that extra OCD wrecking $100! 😂
Nice CLI, I personally can't get this card but our daughter is Navy, need to ask her if she has this card, because she should get it.
If your Daughter is in the Navy and she joins, you, your wife, or any siblings can join as well.
I got because my grandfather was in the Navy.
The way I understood it was that yes if my grandfather was Navy everybody directly related after him can join. But our daughter is the first Navy in the family and at least the way I understood it can't go backward. However, her kids and their kids could. That is if she has kids. The best hope is our son who is already married and has a house but taking his sweet time, lol. I am ok with it, my wife not so much.🤣
Getting up there in the CL, grats on getting the full 8K bump!
No, it only matters if you are immediate family members. I just checked for you to be sure. You have a way! Navy is awesome!

Thank you @JNA1 , that is awesome news. However, I will probably put that off for a bit. As you pointed out I should do some garden time, lol plus we can hardly talk to her with the Covid restrictions she hasn't had leave to come back home for two years now. However, she will get stationed back in the US by late August.

Wow, sorry to hear that! It's just a great option to keep in mind when you get out of the garden. Even if not just for credit cards, they are great FI all the way around.
That's terrific!! Congratulations on your NFCU Approval!! 🎉🥂👏
@JNA1 Congratulations.
how often do you use the card and average amount of spend to get that high of a limit?

No, not really. I've used it pretty sparingly. The balance I have on it now is a BT of some spend we put another card that we used to buy Christmas with.
Congrats on your Platinum CLI 👍🏼
Congrats on the CLI , NFCU is great and my credit is just getting much better with them . Was able to get in through my brother who is in army reserves
