NFCU Success!

For background....I have a Chapter 7 bankruptcy that was discharged July 2018. I've kept my credit profile AZEO since then and have 1 installment loan. My current Transunion score is 693.

7 months ago, I opened a NFCU savings account. I haven't deposited or withdrawn anything since that initial deposit. I recently got an email saying that I'd get an inactivity fee, if I didn't make another deposit, open a line of credit, etc. Today, I applied for the cash rewards card. I got approved....for $18,000! I'm so happy.

Without doubt this one qualifies for the Approvals Forum!

Congratulations with NFCU and a very nice new card SL with them.

Re: NFCU Success!

Update....I decided to see how far my luck would get me after the NFCU app. The answer is "not far". Lol. I applied for Discover IT. Denied. I burned them for about $4,000 in my bankruptcy. I guess they're still upset about that one. I also applied for CLI on my Quicksilver and VentureOne cards. No go. Capital One is frustrating me on the CLI apps. I use both cards every month and PIF (while staying AZEO). My CLI apps have been getting denied every month for at least the last 4 months 🙄

Re: NFCU Success!

At least you tried.

If you are interested in a 2nd Navy card, I think you may have better success if you wait 91 days and 3 full statements.  For your reading pleasure. Navy Federal Thread for CLI and Additional Cards
