NFCU is Awesome!!!

Just wanted to thank everyone on here for all the information they share. I have been working on my credit for the past year and have came from the mid 550 range to over 670 across the board. I just recently got approved for a NFCU cash rewards card with a limit of $5,000. Using what I learned here I called and did a recon on the CL and it got bumped to $10,000!! This is crazy to me because my only other cards are a disgusting first premier card 300 cl and a secured visa with 1,000 limit. I had lates on my FP from 15 months ago(only derogs on CR)  and wish there was a way to get them removed so if anyone has any ideas i'd appreciate it! Any ideas on what cards to pursue next?

I'm jealous, I have been holding off on NFCU due to heavy gardening. From what I have read they are awesome. You might want to try Barclays NFL products, might get a toy limit but it's a foot in the door. Also try Associated Bank, and some GE's like Amazon or Walmart. Good luck!

I recieved a pre approval for a barclays rewards card but wanted to go with NFCU first because of their generosity. I havent read up on Barclays yet and didnt know if it was a good card. Do you know which CR they pull? NFCU pulled EQ so I am trying to avoid another pull on them.

I know for sure they don't pull EX (at least in NY) no inc on my EX CR
