I was shocked to see on my credit report that my 4 month old Navy Federal Secured card with a $500 limit that I just got in February was now $2000. I called them to confirm I had "graduated". I am really amazed it happened that fast and I got a CLI to boot!
Thank you Navy Fed!

Super congrats your Navy Fed secured card graduation and CLI to $2,000!
A 4 month graduation is the fastest I've seen from secured to unsecured.
Take good care of that card, and more CLIs will be in your future.
Navy Fed is very generous with SLs and CLIs. Please keep us posted
on your progress!

What factors about your credit profile do you think helped make this so?

Thank you so much... that's the fastest I've seen too. My Capital One, Discover, and Navy Fed are now all graduated.
I still have a pending application for Citibank for a $2500 secured card just to get the credit lines up a bit... man are they slow!

I get the sense that unlike other providers they want to get secured cards off their books as quickly as possible? I have a car loan with them (opened at the same time) so that probably didn't hurt... and perhaps that my balances everywhere else are really low. I am pretty much debt free. Also SAVINGS free... but that's another issue.
@vV35Hszm
Compared to Navy Fed, everyone is slow. And I think you're right:
Navy Fed doesn't like secured accts on their books any longer than
necessary. It's a case by case basis, but the sooner they can graduate
their members the better.
BTW, I'm not sure if you have a relationship with Bank of America
or have given any thought to applying with them. They offer a 99/500
partially secured card that's very popular here in the forum. Your $99
deposit secures a $500 credit line, but it's a "counter offer" card. So if
you app for their 1-2-3 Cash Rewards card and get declined, they may
counter with the 99/500. Worst case, you can always check the forum
for BofA's reconsideration line and app that way as well. Continued good
luck to you, and please keep us posted on your progress!
P.S. Bof A hard pulls their SL''s, but all of their CLI's are soft pulls now.
But if you app for their Rewards card and are declined, you can use the
same hard pull to app for the 99/500 within 30 days. In addition, the
99/500 is the partially secured version of the Rewards card with the
same 1-2-3 rewards. That's the biggest reason it's so popular here.
Jealous! I got mine late January and will hit 6 months July 8th. Expecting mine to unsecure per the cards department. Fingers crossed! Congrats to you!! Navy Rocks!!
Congratulations on your card being unsecured! I just opened my card with Navy in May so hoping to see some love from them come November!
