Yesterday I received an increase in my credit line! I requested it the day before (6 months after my card graduated from the nRewards to Cash Rewards) and they increased my limit from $2000 to $6000!
This is my highest limit and it's super satisfying. I've been working on the reasons Chase gave me a $500 limit on my CFU (1 Collections account I'm going to settle, limits on other cards, recent late payments and past delinquent accounts) because I want my next card to be CSP so that I can eventually get one of my goal cards in my siggy. I will take care of the collections (closed utility account) and hopefully the time between applying for another credit card and more on time payments will override my past delinquencies. I also have a new auto loan that has yet to hit my credit report (purchashed a new car on 5/4).
But I wanted to share the good news with you all. I'm still on my credit journey and I'm excited for what I hope to be cards with higher limits in the future!
