First things first, This group is awesome. I am 3 days new to the group, but it has helped me so much. The data points and card info provided really gave me the courage to go in.

Data Points
Credit status: Rebuilding
FICO 08 (April 2019) .... EQ (585), TU (647), EX (608)... the EX is as of today, was 576

EQ and EX ... Baddies - ollections (6) and Lates; was able to remove Collections from TU but lates remain; most recent late 3 months ago

TU - AAOA - 3yr9mos
EQ - AAoA - 4yr9mos

Total credit card usage - 39% (TU)

Already have the navy federal platinum with a 2k (usage - 39%) limit which I tried to get a CLI and was denied

I read in this group that NFCU pulls TU for new accounts and immediately got excited since my collections are newly removed. After submitting my application around 7pm ET, I received the message, “your application is being reviewed”, I immediately got discouraged. BUT around 11:30pm I received the “Congrats! You’re Approved!” Message. Not only did I get approved, but my SL is 10k. I’ve never had a limit that high 😊.

Goal Score - 750 across all three

Congratulations. Navy is the best at helping people who have some minor baddies in their CR. The 10K is just the beginning. Work to get your Overall UTI under 8%, then in 6 months ask for the 3rd card and that should bring you the Brinks truck.
Smart move. The CL should boost your scores up plenty in the next few months, and other lenders will come via pre-approval.
Navy pulls EQ for CLI, just a FYI, and don't be shy to call their recon line to paint your story.
