Hi, all!
I was one of the few people with a cashRewards card who didn't get the new 2% cash back rate when Navy Federal introduced the new rewards structure last fall. Of course, they introduced the new structure right after I did my last CLI. My 6-month waiting period for a CLI request ended on the 11th, so I decided to apply, not expecting too much.
I was surprised to see this morning that NFCU had not only given me the $5,000 limit I needed to earn 2% back, but they'd actually tripled my credit limit from $3,000 to $9,000!
For some extra data points:
• I haven't been applying for credit for a while (0/6, 0/12, 2/24).
• I've paid this card in full every month and have reported 22 months of perfect behavior.
• I reported income of just under $27,000.
• I don't have the exact FICO score NFCU saw when evaluating my CLI request (since they no longer give FICO 9 scores to cardholders), but my scores usually sit around 750-760.

Nicely done!! Congratulations on your Approval!!👏🏼🍾🥂
congrats, very nice CLI!!
I'd contact them and see how soon you can get the new card and ensure you're earning at the 2% rate !!

Congrats on your Navy CLI !
