After reading everyone's success with NFCU I decided that it was time for me to try and get a increase on my nRewards Card ($1000) and apply for navcheck. I also have a car loan thru them for $75k. Since my credit has improved somewhat I also decided to apply for a second card. I asked for $24k increase on my nRewards (of course I got the 3-5 day message). I waited a few hours and called and the second card was denied. They also only increased my CC to $6600. I can't really complain because it's now my highest card by far. When it came to the navcheck I had to wait a few hours to get an answer. They did finally approve me for $15k but I had to add my wife as a co-signer. Since she already had the inquire herself she decided to apply for $15k navcheck on her checking account. It was denied because of income. She appealed and added me as a co-signer and was given $5k. We didn't get the full $15k but I must say that I am extremely happy with NFCU. They have just about given me $26,000 in new credit in a few days time. We are 4 years post CH-7 and only have a bunch of small cards and a few 1k cards before this. This is one of the best banks to be a member of because lord knows I can never get anything from USAA. Pretty happy today!
