My experience us, I got an auto cli at about 3 months, they turned down my requests as too soon until 6 months after the auto cli. They never ask how much I want, have given $8,000 each request, at 6 month intervals.

Thank you for the feedback.  I will eventually request a CLI on my own but didn't want to be too pushy as they have been very generous with me.

I wish I had data points to share on that.  I opened the card and was happy with the credit line and was pleasantly shocked to open my email 3 months later to their auto CLI.  WHY it was that amout remains a mystery.  I am just happy that for once in my life I was on the receiving end of the atypical CLI.
