It wasn't until this past summer that I hit up Cap 1 for a CLI on my Neiman Marcus store card. I had thought that, like my legacy Cap 1 cards, I was forever bucketed. I've had those accounts over 15 years and they are my smallest CL's and haven't seen CLI's in years.

This summer when I requested a CLI from them on my Neiman's Card , I went from $4000 to $8000. I recalled @Anonymous success with the Saks WEMC approval (also Cap 1 cobranded) while NM doesn't offer anything but a store card....at this point, just keeping the stores open is likely their priority....I hit them up for another CLI today. Magic Number...$8000 CLI and instant approval! New Neiman Marcus Store Card CL is $16,000. Happy I made the 6 minute phone call to double my limit! Happy New Year!
