Congrats! The Gold has no rewards but PenFed is a good outfit to get a foot in the door with. And the Gold card can supposedly have the lowest APR of any of their cards, though mine still has the same 17.99% as my other PenFed cards (the highest APR they offer, but still the lowest APR of any of my cards).
