@Anonymous
This was my first non co branded AMEX, and if you were prequalified for all their cards like I was too, go for it. Let us know how it goes. I'm going to wait a bit to go for the Amex Gold(next year) as I want to establish a profile and relationship with them, with this being my first card with them.
Congrats on your NFCU, AMEX, Citi approvals & Discover CLI
Congrats!
Congratulations on all your success. Thank you for your valuable input!
Congrats
Congrats on app spree success!
@eddygee Congrats on all the approvals. But any reason why you want the Capital One Venture? You can find way better travel cards at the $95 annual fee rate, and Capital One hits all 3 bureaus on their inquiries. That and they can be very stingy with CLI's. The sign on bonuses can be cool, but it's a below average travel card.
And if you want a Chase card, you will need to be below 5 inquiries/accounts in 2 years for the best approval chance. Otherwise you will most likely be denied for too many inquiries. So if you are there, and really want the Chase...that should be your next card app followed by maybe the Amex. And the CSP is a better card than the Venture anyway.
I want to do a PC Upgrade from the Capital One Quick Silver One card I have now. Don't want the hard inquiry or new opened account ding. I will wait to see if Chase sends me anything as far as pre-approval offers. You're right on that I can always go with the Amex Gold last will save the last round in the chamber for the Chase Sapphire Preferred.
My 3 metal Cards will be the Cap One Venture Rewards/Chase Sapphire Preferred/Amex Gold and I'll be done for awhile just tilling the garden and score hopefully into the 800s.
Congrats on your app spree!
