Signed into my Chase Freedom CC account online and I saw my credit line was upped to $10,000 from $8,000 and I only opened the account in April 2014.
Bacground: I opened the account and it offered 0% interest on purchases from April 2014 through July 2015. I figured I'll buy some stuff and keep a balance on the account for a few months to show activity on it and my credit report, so I bought stuff updwards of $6,000. Then I paid the minimum each month since April and then a couple of weeks ago in July I got tired of having a balance and paid it all off at once. Now I have a 0 balance, then all of a suddent this morning my credit line jumped to $10,000.
I figured their alogorithm in Chase calculated I am a good risk so they can extend me more credit without even telling me.
Awesome! Must be nice. Congratulations on your CLI into the five digits
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
Wow, that's awesome. Maybe I should carry a balance and see what happens? Ugh haha

Like Hannibal Smith would say "I love it when a plan comes together" ![]()
I also throwed out constant micro managing and instead rolled balances (on certain Prime Cards} anywhere from 30 to 90 days or longer and the results have been nothing short of excellent returns from those lenders. Looks like your calculations fell in favor for you with them. Nice job OP!
Congrats! on a nice Auto CLI! ![]()
Congrats on the quick Auto CLI! Maybe I should let a balance report before PIF to see what happens!

Congrats! I also received an auto CLI from them this month. They must be feeling generous!
