I understand how you feel - congratulations to you! I "lost" my American Express cards when I went through my financial difficulty nince years ago. However, I received my first of what is now 4 American Express cards a little more than a year ago - and when I got my first, I noticed that is said "Member Since 82"....I thought, wow, yes - that was the first year that I got an American Express. So even though I had lapse of several years, it's nice that they did have that on the card!
